This is a very interesting release for an IMAX film.  I've seen the film, and nothing about it really suggests it being enhanced in any particular way with an IMAX presentation.  I certainly didn't come out of it going, "I wish I could've seen this on a BIGGER screen!"

 

Of course, that merely goes in line with what people think an IMAX presentation SHOULD be (action, explosions, and BOOM sounds!), so I certainly don't mind IMAX branching out like this.  I just think that most audiences who go to see it in IMAX will say, "Why was this in IMAX?"

The article title reminds me of when I saw OUTBREAK during college. There's a scene in the flick when people get infected in a movie theater. While in the actual theater where we were watching the movie (and that scene particularly), someone in the crowded audience coughed. Everyone gasped and then we all immediately laughed at ourselves. A great moment that I remember 16 years later.

Really, that whole movie is hilarious.
