I marvel at the awfulness of those "Twilight" posters.  Love the obvious breast-enlargement they gave ol' SourPuss.

1) re: MI4GP poster:

I don't care for this poster. It's lazy, doesn't draw you in visually, and the face pictured more closely resembles Eminem (what with the hoodie) than Tom Cruise. Would it be that hard to make a cool MI4 poster? A simple shot of Cruise looking up as he is hanging in for his life from the Burg Khalifa would have a big impact - the startling height of that structure would immediately say to audiences "you'll see action here you won't see anywhere else this summer". Or heck, even go back to the old stylized match lighting from the MI3 posters. Anything but this blandly forgettable one sheet!

2) re: HAK3DC posters:

They're ok, but seeing as how this film sounds like a great idea, a heartwarming and charming big budget Xmas tale centered around characters we have all come to love over the past decade, it seems a shame they wouldn't try and go for a warmer, gentler hand illustrated "coca cola Santa advert" style one sheet. I think if you turned someone like Struzan (or the late great Tasha Tudor) loose on this material (with it's interesting mashup if Christmas cheer and H+K oddness), the result could be really special. Instead, we get candy cane phalluses. Oh well, this could just be the first round of teaser posters. I will hold out hope there are classier ones on the way as we get closer to the holiday season

EDIT reading over the thread, it seems like Art Decade also picked up on the '8 MILE'ness of the MI4 poster

So who the hell's hand is that on SourPuss's arm?  Because it sure as hell isn't SparklePuss's.  Its placement makes no sense!!!!
