I no longer hate this franchise. If nothing else its given me Rifftrax. I do wish that Troma was producing it instead. They would've stayed true to the book!

This.  I can't imagine anyone taking that scene seriously; even if you're a fan of the books, it just looks ridiculous.

I barely saw the rest of the trailer from "That was the greatest night of my existence" onward due to how hard the laughtears were coming. I can't fucking wait.

I will be dragged to this by the girlfriend. Both parts.

 

She doesn't even care for the series anymore, but girls also have that OCD sense of completion that plagues us guy geeks.
