Gerald McRaney will likely appear among the slavery-era southern western from Tarantino. Also, Sam Jackson.

His Hearst is by far one of the most loathsome villains we've seen in years. A true sociopath. I am curious to see how he is deployed by Tarantino, since he also has experience playing warmer, grandfatherly types

As for SLJ, not terribly excited to hear he will be popping up. I feel he is increasingly one note, and I'm a little burned out on the guy at this point, so I'm wary. We will just have to wait and see how it goes

At least the character that Jackson is playing was written for him. What about Waltz, has he not been confirmed yet?

I don't think Waltz is "officially" on board yet, just like Jackson wasn't "officially" on board until this week.  I'd say it is pretty much a done deal though.
