Anyone catch this show?  I thought it was pretty ridiculous.

Not sure how long they can keep the "Twin takes over other twin's life" thing going.  Especially considering Shiobahn is still alive and for some reason expected her sister to take over her identity after faking her death.

Sarah Michelle Geller is hot, but I'm not sure her looks alone can carry this show.

She's over.  She's been over for a looooong time.

But on the other hand, Batmanuel.

Completely unrelated, I'm debating on dressing up as Batmanuel next year at Dragon*Con.

Yet still no nudity, what gives?

She's got enough Buffy money to not be desperate.

Yeah I guess your right. I was always under the impression Buffy didn't pay well but I guess at a certain point she became producer or something. Ahh well I will always have Cruel Intentions, she was actually really good in that.

Seven years on a series as a lead probably nets you a pretty good chunk of change if you aren't blowing it on hookers and coke.  Not to mention a few movie appearances.

So, thread hijack aside, I've felt the show has been moving interminably slow.  On the Bridget side, we had her fumbling around her sister's life not knowing what do to.  Building drama and tension, I get it, just not terribly interesting.  On Siobhan's side, she's obviously doing something, but we don't have the slightest clue what.  I'm all for taking your time on the story telling and letting things develop, but that doesn't mean doing nothing and just spinning your wheels.  Build up to something, lay some clues down, have plot twists, something!  At least something finally happened tonight with Bridget having to spill the beans to Gemma, maybe that will get things going.  It's a fine line to walk on mystery shows between blowing your wad too early and wasting time on nothing, and this show hasn't been able to find the right balance yet, but I'll hang in there a bit longer for SMG.

I've been sticking with this show with a lot of patience. The two or three episodes after the pilot were fairly slow and weak and seeing Bridget do obviously dumb things in sticky situations came off absurd such as when she sees a bit of blood seeping out of the wooden chest and immediately tries cleaning it up when everyone including an FBI agent is right there and all she's doing is attracting attention but lucky her everyone else was too oblivious. Stuff like that was an eye roller.

However tonight took on a twisted direction that now I can say I'm truly sticking with the show for the time being.

So, I've been sticking with this show, and there's finally been some forward momentum lately.  I doubt I would have if it hadn't been SMG and on Tuesdays when there's little else, but it's been a bit more interesting coming out of the break.  Did not quite expect them to go full on Wild Things tonight.

A fair bit of the annoying early stuff of Bridget fumbling in the dark doing stupid stuff has toned down, but the story is still being told pretty leisurely.  It looks like the sisters cross paths next week, hopefully that sparks something.  I can see this show being a fun soap, there's a decent germ of a story in it, they just wasted a lot of time early with the whole "I'm taking over my twin's life" thing.
