I am not really sure where they'd go with a sequel that would feel as fresh as the original now that the twist has been revealed, but heck, sure, I'd be up for another one. I hope it happens!

If Cronenberg is down for making his first ever sequel (and by all accounts, he is), I'll be right there with him!  Cronenberg, Viggo, Vincent Cassell, and writer Steven Knight have all spoken on numerous occasions about doing Eastern Promises 2 in the near future..................so I have no doubt that it will happen sooner rather than later.  Seeing as how David's two studio projects have stalled in recent years (The Matarese Circle, Timecrimes remake), once he has finished work on Cosmopolis he only has two projects waiting in the wings that I am aware of........................this and an adaptation of As She Climbed Across The Table.  Here's hoping both of them happen one after the other.  We're getting A Dangerous Method this year and the Robert Pattinson-starring(!) Cosmopolis next year, so why not keep the streak going and give us four new Cronenberg films in four straight years?
