J. EDGAR TRAILER: WISH I HAD BETTER THINGS TO SAY

It looks like a solid yet dull companion to the solid yet dull Hoffa.

Interested in Leo doing another accent and donning make up. Has he ever done that for a role? I might be forgetting something, but off the top of my head I don't think he's ever had a role like that.

I'll see it.

Too bad Mann and DiCaprio never filmed that PI script Mr. Beaks raved about some years back.

I'll give it a whirl, though it won't be a priority release for me.

I think he was referring only to the make-up part.  I can recall DiCaprio ever being behind latex before.

Man, poor make-up artists. It's hard enough to make Leo look 30!

Looks pretty rote.  Jeffrey Donovan as Bobby Kennedy is pretty inspired casting, though.

Too true!  The nagging sense that he's a 24 year old playing dress up with his dads clothes is my biggest problem with this and all Leo films.  I haven't seen an Eastwood film made in the last decade that didn't make me want to kill myself, so let's hope he keeps that tradition alive.

Movie is all over the map story-wise, it's pretty good history lesson however. But it's so damn ugly. The make-up, the shitty silvery color, ugh.

I watched a short behind-the-scenes doc, and the colors were beautiful while they were filming. It's a shame Eastwood chose to strip them all out.
