I'm going to have to revisit Dead Heat. I don't recall it making a huge impression on me at the time (save for the oddity that one of the stars appeared to be too good for the material, and the other the exact opposite), but I suspect that, as a change of pace from the slick CG we get today, it might be refreshing (so to speak).

Yeah I just rewatched Dead Heat a year or so ago and its charming. Not the greatest thing ever but charming and entertaining.

 

Something seen about 5% of the time on tv or at the theaters these days.
