Oh yeah, that's 'teh hawtness'. Or coldness. We haven't had a good one of these since, I dunno, The Edge? (I have a terrible memory).

 

All I could think was 'motherfucking wolves must be European'. Liam Neeson hates Europeans.

Can I just say I am loving Liam Neeson 2.0?   Ever since he said "Fuck this" to father figure roles and took the part in "Taken", he's been on fire.   Long live ass kicking grampa Neeson.

I feel bad for Liam in this trailer.  The whole "I miss you" aspect must have been a bit of an emotional bitch given it's still relatively soon after his missus bought it.

I remember Neeson from back when he was the object of lust for the over 35 intellectual crowd. I'm still weirdly uncomfortable, yet thoroughly entertained by this turn of events.

It's the Extreme Smackdown version of Disney's NEVER CRY WOLF.

 

As a huge fan of THE EDGE, survival shows (SURVIVORMAN, MAN VS WILD), and Neeson... consider my ticket bought. And having BLACK WATER and THE REEF on deck at home, I'm quite in the mood.

I used to scoff at the notion of wolves actually being menacing, but then I saw Frozen.  Lots of potential here and I'm interested to see Carnahan step out of his wheelhouse for a survival thriller.
