POSTERS AND STILLS FROM HUMAN CENTIPEDE 2, DARK SHADOWS, IRON LADY AND MORE

1) HC2 poster is extremely disturbing. Job well done??

2) I like the IRON LADY poster (maybe I'd have thrown up a union jack in the background), but my intense dislike of Thatcher precludes me from giving it my top grade

3) That J+J poster is an abomination. That images helps sell the movie? To whom? Who sees that thing and says "Movie night!"

4) I don't really care for the original FEAR AND LOATHING poster (it's just an image of DEPP in costume with some basic wonky photo shop filters thrown in), but I still feel like this is just a hugely missed opportunity. Surely Depp could have roped in RALPH STEADMAN to "gin" something up for the poster? WHERE THE BUFFALO ROAM has one of the best posters of all time, thanks to STEADMAN, yet all RUM DIARY gets is a floating head

The movie isn't asking you to like Margaret Thatcher, genius. It's this knee-jerk veiwpoint that makes you intolerable far more than your crazy tangential bullshit.

Right now I'm pretty tired of Johnny Depp, so Rum Diary and Dark Shadows don't do much for me. From a creative eye, the Diary poster couldn't be done much lazier, though.

We knew Iron Lady would feature Meryl's head in huge, but that's actually not that bad as a variation. I didn't need a Thatcher movie, but I love Meryl and I'd even watch her play that lazy dude that said that Rum Diary poster is acceptable.

I'd not watch he be a part of a twelve bodied ass-to-mouth centipede, but that poster isn't bad. There aren't that many options showing a twelve bodied ass-to-mouth centipede without losing the one iconography the "franchise" is known for.

That DARK SHADOWS image is more like it. The spy pics made me leery as hell, but the period garb, "soap opera" group shot, and groin-vaulted ceiling here tickles me.

Yeah, I'm sure they released that Dark Shadows poster to reassure fans after that leaked photo.  Any fan of the series will recognize that image.
