I'm still puzzled by the sandpaper masturbation and the barbed wire rape. About the actual proceeding and imminent results. I know it is advertised as medically inaccurate but ...

 

how many strokes are possible before your member becomes a burning, bleeding mess of ripped flesh and unimaginable pain? And then he goes on putting barbed wire around it (is he that hung) to rape his centipede? I guess Hellraiser's Frank would love the fuck out of it, but even if this bug-eyed freak was as coked out as Scarface in his last minutes I just can not see this working in any way.

So it's a dream sequence, right? Fabfunk?

Based on the convos I've had, people seem mixed on whether or not the ending is meant to be all a dream. Non-coincidentally, I think, people who liked the movie seem to feel that the ending means he simply got away with it all. I felt it was all a dream. Who knows. Sadly no one asked about that during the Q&A. If I bump into Six I'll make sure to throw that out there.

I think you'd have to be really dense to think that he got away with it in the end, particularly considering there's zero evidence to support that reading. I took it as Six's comment on how the horrors conceived in our own heads are far worse than anything in the first movie, or any horror movie, therefore shifting the blame from "controversial" films and onto the viewers themselves. I just think Six hasn't earned that sort of status yet, to speak for an entire genre like this.

Interested to see where a "Final Sequence" takes us however. The dude can shoot a handsome looking, genuinely sick movie.

You definitely got me interested in Manborg and A Boy and His Samurai...and I kinda feel I need to see the first Human Centipede just to see what its all about.

Nice VR Troopers reference, Josh!  I always preferred it to Power Rangers back in the day.

 

 

 

 

 

Stop staring at me!  You all know you watched Power Rangers for at least the first year or so!
