Nikita Season 2

Very strong start. I kind of loved the drones even though the cgi was uhh....not perfect. Anyone else. I wish someone would watch this shit.

I love this show. I loved the beat down at the end, the weariness of Nikita, and that it looks like we are getting a lot more Amanda this season. I'm not digging the "oversight" nor their agent at division quite yet.

I sorta prefer the USA series instead. Maggie Q is great as Nikita. But there was an oppresiveness in the Original Series that isn't found here. Peta Wilson is more world weary as Nikita and Operations would have eaten Xander Berkley for lunch.

Percy getting the Hannibal Lecter treatment is funny as fuck. I like this show but when it tries to be heavy or edgy it fails big time.

"Oh, and Berkov is NOT working with us."

Totally.  Awesome.

I really loved season 1, and this season is off to a good start.  The Nikita/Alex fight at the end was cold blooded.  Not content to break her arm, she SHOOTS HER in the fucking leg just to make sure!  Sweetness.

And they are pushing the whole "Percy as Hannibal Lectur" thing pretty hard, with Alex as a Clarise stand-in.  So yeah, that's over the top, but then again, everything about this show is over the top, so I'm willing to forgive it.

This is probably the smartest show on the CW, which isn't saying much, but its still damn good TV.

So I really like this show. They aren't afraid to change the game and have so many plot lines going on. Yet the whole thing stays manageable. Right now this show is so far ahead of Supernatural it's not even funny. So of course it might get cancelled. They haven't gotten word on their renewal yet.

I agree. Past the first half of the first season this show has been going really well. Shame about the possibility if cancellation.

For anyone who cares there is good news, Nikita got a full 22 episode season 3, so at least there is that.

Wow the Nikita finale blew Supernatural's finale completely away. Like last season's finale there are BIG changes that completely change things. It seems Percy and his helper are actually dead forever. I mean the way they lingered on Percy's body makes me think that MAYBE they might attempt to bring him back but his heart had to stop to send that signal and it's not like anyone rushed to save him so im thinking it's really they end. They flipped the page here and are on to bigger and better villains. Problem is though that they are going to have trouble topping him. Right now I can't imagine anyone being quite as strong. So Nikita runs Division now but I wonder how exactly they will do recruitment if they will at all. Hopefully giving Nikita some Percy like choices were she finds out just how hard his job was.

So happy about the 3rd season. And hopefully it means a S4 is a lock as well for syndication.

I liked the finale as well. Even though I thought the Percy vs. Team Nikita vs. Amanda storyline a few episodes earlier was more engaging., I'm still pleased with the finale, and it could have worked as a series finale, though thankfully that wasn't the case.

Definitely agree that this show excels at changing the game, which is so appreciated since it seems every other show on the network is too afraid of taking risks (Vampire Diaries, I'm looking at you). Really, I'm just so impressed with how much this show has improved since season one. Back then, I thought Percy was a pretty boring villain and the Division stuff was too formulaic.

I'll miss Xander Berkley, but I do think it's time for a new big bad. Better he go out in style than become this show's equivalent of Sylar from Heroes, or Klaus from the Vampire Diaries.

I'm also glad Birkhoff made it through the season alive. For awhile it seemed maybe Sofia was being primed to take over his role.

I'm a little disappointed the show will still be in the Friday night death slot, but I think moving it to 9:00 is a better fit, and hopefully staying on Fridays will keep the ratings expectations low.

The way it ended also reflects how Peta Wilson's Nikita ended up.

The USA Network version was one that i grew up with. Which version do you like better?

This show may not be the most watched or lauded but a lot of people should look at it and learn how to have some balls with their plots.

As for the TV Nikitas, though this one is a better show, it's Peta all the fucking way.
