Interesting review. Your McBride fatigue is understandable, although I consider this the ultimate example of the persona you've grown so tired of (I haven't seen Your Highness or 30 Minutes or Less yet, either, so that probably helps.) Season 2 is a bit more cartoonish than the first, but I think that more broad style helped blunt a lot of the meanness on display.
