I'm a regular CHUD reader, but this is my first real post in the forums. Hopefully it being for a bit of shameless self-promotion doesn't make me a total fraud.
I have this entry in the Alamo Drafthouse's ABCs Of Death competition for the 26th filmmaker called "T Is For Threat". It's not got quite the audience that some of the other entries have, so I'm hoping to be able to reach out to some of the sick individuals who would dig it that otherwise might not hear of it. Being only four minutes, it's hard to describe without spoiling anything, but the gist is it's a black comedy about an out-of-the-ordinary threat that drives it's victim mad. I've also been describing it as Oedipus with necrophilia.
So yeah, it's likely to make you want to take a shower. But it's a solid movie that we all feel confident just needs to find it's audience, and I know CHUD readers like myself will likely dig it the way I would.
