This sounds very strange. I'd much prefer Herzog to simply make a narrative film with Cruise in the lead

 

 

PS VALKYRIE doesn't 'suck', IMHO. It's a perfectly engaging thriller

Definitely looking forward to seeing how this pans out.......................and kudos to Josh on the Nightbreed reference.  Cronenberg is fantastic in that and I suspect Herzog will be in this.

No doubt about it this was an inspired casting choice. Herzog will be great in this. The role isn't a very showy part though.

 

Yes I have read the book. Tom Cruise playing Jack Reacher is like Charlie Chaplin playing Shaquille O'Neal.

 

Its hilariously awful.
