The article isn't linked, but I'm pretty sure that INCIDENT AT LOCH NESS and THE GRAND came before this anticipated release.

Incident at Loch Ness is such a brilliant film. I wish more people had/would/could see it.

Yeah, the article says it isn't his first.

 

He was also in What Dreams May Come and two Harmony Korine films.

The abrupt tonal shift at the end keeps it from being brilliant for me; but as a die-hard Nessie person, it's pretty great.

 

Stayed at Ness just after the film shot, and spent time at the hotel where the crew is staying. Fantastic fried fish n' chips, straight out of the loch (the fish, not the chips).

 

And Herzog owns.
