While Sony plants seeds for another biographic tech-corporation movie, let's talk about how that might work...

Cast Noah Wyle, again as Steve Jobs.

I liked Wyle in the role, I just think a Norton or Bale would be a step up

PS I think the film should be a gigantic Oliver Stone sized biopic, like NIXON or ALEXANDER. Cover every last detail of his life. Make it 3.5 hrs long. That is the only way to do the story justice

EDIT Now that I have had time to reflect, I am going to have to go with Christian Bale as my top choice. Overall he seems like he could readily understand Steve's vision and would bring that passion to his work. I have a vision of Bale at MACWORLD 2007 unveiling the iPhone, and it's just perfect

THE GENIUS ISSUE. The black sweater. The half eaten apple. The hair! Cast this man ASAP

EDIT 2: One more:

My Jobs biopic would be an hour and a half of a frustrated customer trying to figure out how to install his own goddamn ringtone because the Christforsaken phone won't treat him like a motherfucking adult and let him. I imagine a real biopic authorized by the Jobs estate will be more generous.

Will the film be obselete in 12 months and we'll have to watch a new one?

I second this.  Only saw Pirates of Silicon Valley when it first aired, but I remember liking it well enough.  I have no clue if it holds up, but It would at least be amusing to see the same actor reprise the role in a much more prominent film.

Also, I look forward to PK bitching about this movie in a few years, when it somehow fails to portray this "Titan" exactly as she would have preferred.

that acid scene in Pirates of Silicon Valley is beyond embarrassing though.

"I'm conducting MUUUUUUUUUSIC"

Isn't Noah Wyle going to be too busy making shitty TV sci-fi to do it though?

Mark Strong?
