Of course, the list is very Brit-centric, but you can't lose with a 150 song list like this.

That list is absolutely rediculous. Some real head scratchers on there.

There's a very big difference between best song of the last fifteen years and best commercial song of the last fifteen years.  I don't think Hey Ya! is going to be appreciated by musicians in 10 years time the same ways as it's going to be by overaged white guys hitting the dance floor, reconnecting with their youth  and that time they date raped some slut.

No Foo Fighters at all?  really?

And that's just the first band I thought of.

And NME is still going?  Bloody hell.

"Hey Ya" is an incredibly well-crafted pop song.  I know it was inescapable for long enough to get tiresome, but it's not like it's some Black Eyed Peas dreck.

No Modest Mouse? Good to see Radiohead get some love. OK Computer is still one of my favorite albums ever.

Hell just the whole album just brings back awesome awesome memories.

Absolutely, I've been rinsing Radiodread lately which is a cover of OK Computer by the Easy Star All Stars.  Really great listen which highlights just how well crafted those songs are.

That list can go fuck itself. From top to bottom.

And I'm a huge Jack White fan.

"Paranoid Android"? No. That's not even the best song the first half of that album.

"Hey Ya"? Yep, definitely deserves it's spot.

The Killers? Booooring.

Arctic Monkeys needs to be a tad higher.

Nice to see Missy Elliot & QotSA have some legs, though latter Queens is far more interesting.

There was a lot of repeat artists on that list. It would have been better if it was limited to 1 or maybe 2 songs per artist.

I was glad to see Johnny Cash's Hurt on there, but on my list, it would have been higher. I was hoping to see a Bob Dylan song on there, like Not Dark Yet or Mississippi.

Oh, and The fucking Spice Girls? Get the hell out of here.

Everlong is at 48.

150 spots, and no room for one song from

Wilco

Iron and Wine

Neutral Milk Hotel

Neko Case

The Hold Steady

The National (who I've cooled a lot on, but "Start A War" and "Fake Empire" beat the piss out of any of the 4 Coldplay songs listed).

Wolf Parade

Sigur Ros

Black Keys

But eh, these lists are never going to please everybody, or anybody really.  At least they gave "Let Down" and "Reckoner" their props.  I didn't even realize those were released as singles.
