Is Google going after Apple, Cable providers, and all the rest..?

It seems like a reasonable move to try to make, seeing how all the other major players are vying for new or exclusive internet content.  I'm curious as to how it will function, more similar to Hulu than Netflix or something similar I'd suppose.  And with the announcement about how it's possible Hulu or Netflix will be how the new episodes of Arrested Development are delivered, I'm curious if they'll try to grab something akin to it, an already well known show that will guarantee viewers to kick it off.

I just hope they really deal with this whole international rights issue in some way. If anyone can deal with this mess, Google is the one.
