Clooney has his many, many charms but I can't ever remember him in a role where I actually felt a huge amount of empathy or sympathy for his character. I guess Michael Clayton, Solaris and Fantastic Mr Fox came closest but I'm a big crybaby wuss and I've never shed a tear at one of his performances. He's just too ridiculously cool so I have to wonder about how he'll roll in a film like this.

Dude, it's Payne and Clooney. Not being over the top optimistic about this movie and preemptively declaring the best thing ever would be illegal if it was up to me.
