Damn, if they really made an old school Spielberg/John Williams action flick fused with cutting edge super technology, I'd pretty happy about that.

Yup. All aboard the hype train!

 

All the complaints are about things that won't bother me much. I mean yeah, It would suck for a big fan of Tintin if the characters aren't that faithfully realized but I'm not one of them. If they work within the movie I'm cool.

Still not dead to me...but that will change if he actually does a fully CG Roger Rabbit sequel or something like that.

 

Also, glad to hear the positive reviews and awe; given my love of the original material, i cant wait for this one now.

This just made my week. I'm a big fan of the material, but being a stickler seems churlish to me in an adaptation like this. I think I'm only looking forward to Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy more than this sucker.
