IN BRUGE Director Martin McDonagh picks up Rourke to joined his awesome cast for SEVEN PSYCHOPATHS.

Colin Farrell is great, and In Bruges was TITS, but really, all you had to say was "Chris Walken and Sam Rockwell kidnap Mickey Rourke's dog" and I was sold.

I hope McDonagh's already written a scene that allows Rourke to engage in a strange rambling bit of improv regarding somebody's neck tattoo.

I dislike Rourke. In fact I kind of hate him. But this movie seems so crazy good in every other respect that I really don't mind him being in it.

I just hope Ralph Fiennes can drop buy for a while to call everyone cunts.

I'd be surprised if they don't fly Rourke in for a day or two of EXPENDABLES 2 cameo-ing. I mean, isn't the whole plot based on his character?

Renn Brown, Let's See.  Mickey Rourke gave up being in...The Expendables 2, for Seven Psychopaths?  This is definitely a step...Down!

I won't miss Rourke, but to say this film is better than...The Expendables is a bit of a stretch.

This has the ingredients of genius.

Stallone shot down that synopsis, stating it was from an earlier version of the script.  Anyway, if he has free time in his schedule, I'm sure Mickey will show up for his buddy Sly.  If not, there is always the inevitable Expendables 3.

Eh Rourke is no real loss to the Expendables 2.

Doubly so considering we're getting Van Damme, Adkins, and Norris instead................as well as larger roles for Willis and Arnold.  Something had to give character-wise to make room for the new blood (and expanded parts of others), so it is probably for the best that Rourke won't be back this time and that Jet Li won't be in it that much either.

Yeah so far so good. Wish Jai White was in it too but thats a small gripe.

Well IN BRUGES is one of my favorite films of the past 10 years, so anything from it's director/writer I'll be happy to see. With that said, I feel Walken is extremely played out and grating. As for Rockwell, he's one of my least favorite actors working today. Even when I see him do OK work in a film, I still end up walking away with a bad taste in my mouth. There is something very squirley and offputting about his screen presence that just doesn't work for me. Rourke I can take or leave, but with all the reservations I've just listed, I'm still going to keep my fingers crossed and hope this turns out to be even a 5th as good as IB
