The Once-ler has a face!

The Lorax is an important story. Perhaps more important than any children's story ever written, certainly more vital a tale than the countless tomes dedicated to the virtues of "self esteem" ETC.. But you know what? Maybe kids should just pick up the book and actually read it. The Onceler doesn't need a face. He is hiding out the remainder of his days in shame for his role in the destruction of the biosphere - the most terrifying vision of the future ever created. In this article, the photo  from the epilogue/prologue has BLUE SKIES. As if the loss of the trees had no greater impact on the environment. WTF? This isn't THE CAT AND THE HAT. This movie needs to look like the Junior Readers edition of THE ROAD, in order to instill in children an overwhelming terror at the prospect of what will happen to our own planet if we're not careful

Kids should walk out of this movie tears, pledging to never allow our own world to meet a similar fate. Otherwise, what is the point?

I fear HORTON HEARS A HOO style crowd pleasing shenanigans, with the real themes of the story  swept under the rug

I do not accept a LORAX that doesn't have the voice of Paul Giamatti.

I love DESPICABLE ME and sincerely hope this is better than HOP, Illumination.

On the Seussian tip, Blue Sky's HORTON is UNDER-rated IMO and fairly funny.
