I remember reading about this one, it was financed as a Chinese/American co production. I am always eager to see a new Bale movie, and the intriguing period setting holds some promise. Unfortunately I've seen such films go astray before (CHILDREN OF HUANG SHI, comes to mind), but I'll hold out hope for the best

It looks like it was cut by an amateur who thinks an effective trailer is just money shots strung together. What a mess.

I'm looking forward to the film itself, but that trailer is godawful.  It just seems to go on forever.

This seems random as fuck. Bale has a beard and is a priest. Bale is shaved and screwing some woman. Bale makes jokes with a beard. Explosions. Bale is a priest again. Explosions. Ass. Beard again. Snipers. Explosions. Sad beard.

 

Still will watch.
