Here are some (fictional) things on the internet that scare us.

His Face All Red is fantastic!  Thanks for this.  I was looking forward to your column ever since you mentioned it in the Korean comic thread, but I'd forgotten about it.  Nice surprise!

This shit is *Great*. Love this article!

Thanks! I'm hoping people keep this thread alive. I received a few emails from folks who wanted to contribute. If we get enough interest, it would be cool to see this turn into a yearly Halloween feature. I'm sure there's still a lot of great stuff out there.

Yeah, this is a cool article.

I haven't had a chance to watch the new Paranormal Activity movie yet, but I know it's doing well at the box office and I really think they should throw some money (just a little bit, not too much) at the Marble Hornets people to do the inevitable #4.

I'm really itching to mention the slaughterhouse doc I made that I shot like a horror film, but this doesn't seem like the right thread.

Just tore through all the Dionaea House stuff the last hour, and I won't lie, it had me checking over my shoulder a few times. Then the goddamn cat knocks a book down in the next room and I lose my shit. Needless to say, I enjoyed this quite a bit, I'll come back and look at the rest of this stuff in the next few nights.

Creepypasta is very fun. Check out The Russian Sleep Experiment, too. Cool concept for a movie.

So I've been on a total slenderman binge the past few nights after seeing that first marble hornets video, great stuff. A little disappointed with the lack of updates for everymanHYBRID, but its hooked me thoroughly as well. I had a lot of fun with everything on the list, well done!

Anyway DVD versions of Marble Hornets out there? I can make it work if there's a DivX version. How long is it all told? Won't bother if it's only 30 mintues.

First season is what, 26 episodes? I think they come to about an hour and a half, just the first 26. Something like that anyway.

Enjoyed "His Face All Red", although  after reading the article I was a little built up for the final image and my brain couldn't help but protest, "That's it?!"  The art and the writing are great and reading it on a computer works in a way that you probably can't get from a printed medium, for instance scrolling down as he descends into the hole.

I had never heard of Marble Hornets until this article, but decided to watch a few last night. Those few turned into the first 27 episodes. Really impressed with what they were able to pull off with such limited resources. And it goes to show that a story remains scarier the less you know about the monster.

Really enjoyed the Dionaea House. Truly creepy, and I'm a big fan of the "bits and pieces" approach to building foreboding and fear.

I've been watching the Slenderman series for quite a while (Marble Hornets, EverymanHybrid); there's one other "major" series called TribeTwelve that's now intertwined with EverymanHybrid. If you're a Slenderman fan I suggest checking all of them out.
