Should I bother watching the theatrical cut? I know that they screened the extended cut VHS last year, but apparently Morgan Creek can't find the actual footage in their vaults.

 

I ask because it looks rather interesting, but I have no means of seeing the apparently better,  much longer cut.

Yes you should. Any Nightbreed you can get your hands on is good.

 

Pick Cabal up, too.

Stelios is right. Pick up the DVD and watch it. It's flawed, but good.

And that workprint cut was ROUGH - but somewhere between the theatrical and the workprint footage lies a truly classic film.
