So, I would like to promote this grassroots project by Daniel Knauf called Blackbxx: Haunted.
It is an interactive internet project that attempts to do something different, something that hasn't yet been accomplished by any major studio when it comes utilizing the non-linear capabilities of the web.
The project is looking for funding for its post-production and distribution costs. Kickstarter allows users to pledge money ($5,10,25,50...) in exchange for various 'rewards', such as a lifetime membership to the online project. No one is charged anything unless the project meets its pledge goal of 70-some thousand dollars.
Unfortunately, it has less than two weeks to scrounge up 50,000 dollars.
From the looks of things, Haunted will be familiar to anyone who is a fan of Paranormal Activity, but its presentation via web will constitute a tremendous difference.
I implore people to check out the link and see if they're interested. If you could spare just 5 bucks, it would help greatly.
And remember, nothing is charged unless the project meets its goal.
