Beavis and Butt-Head

Thread Starter

Anyone else been watching it? I think it's been hilarious (I've been quoting "My name is Hamid. I understand your confusion. I've only been working here a short distance" for two full days).

Glad to see it's back, although I'm still waiting to see them rip on YouTube videos. It's just been music videos and MTV programming so far.

Yeah as far as im concerned they haven't missed a step. It feels like they are doing exactly what they always did. If I didn't know any better I would say they made these back then and just added in the MTV shows now.

I about pissed myself when Butthead asked if Bella was a zombie when they were watching Twilight.

The only(minor) complaint I have is that they almost seem too smart; some of their cracks about the MTV shows are way too clever for characters who are supposed to be idiots.

Or perhaps MTV got dumber?

I have been loving it, it seems even better than when it aired all those years ago. The funniest moment was them watching 16 and pregnant.

"Oh, so she's not a bad actor, just a bad person"

Yeah I haven't watched last week's yet, but I loved the first episode. Beavis saying "I will be a denizen of the night!" killed me.

I've been saying "Being a werewolf hurts my bones. Arooo"  every chance I get.

Loved both shows so far.

"You're the best grandma ever, grandma J-Woww."

Love that this is still 4x3.

the first one would have been all greatness, but buttheads voice sounded really off. the second episode it was spot on, and i was a teenager again shouting about cornholio. also, Do America just showed up on my netflix...boosh

So happy this is back. Of course they can't make fun of Winger videos any more but for Mike Judge finding cool jokes to make about today's reality TV will be like shooting fish in a barrel. I can't stop smirking whenever I remember "Grandma J-wow."

Plus, I can't express with words how happy hearing the opening music makes me. Takes me right back to the time I could make, if I could say so myself, a pretty fucking spot on Cornholio.

Butthead's comment about the Dove model sitting by the pool in Katy Perry's "Firework" video had me laughing my ass off.

That weird cadence in Butthead's voice is fucking killing me in a way it never did when I was younger. When he started causing shit at that computer and said, "This is coo-ool.", I laughed my ass off and couldn't figure out why.

If you're not loving the new episodes, you have no fucking soul, goddamn these are making me laugh!  So glad the boys are back!

It threw me off a bit when I heard Anderson and he sounded almost exactly like Hank Hill(but slightly slower). There used to be more difference in the two voices, but that's a lame nit-pick. For the most part, it's like B&B never left. Fun stuff.

These new B&B episodes are killing me. So good!

The video riffs are great but that riffs on the horrible MTV reality shows is awesome.

"Do you really need to be here?"

"Uh....yeah."

I found that moment hilarious for some reason.

2 of them aired last night, both hilarious.

"I am soft, like woman."

I love this so much.

I don't really dig the half-hour episodes; I hope that the rest of the season isn't like that.

And that Teen Mom show is repulsive.  I was aware that the show existed but after seeing actual clips of the show on B&B, I'm amazed that people were up in arms about the American version of Skins yet Teen Mom gets a pass.

These where two episodes, if that's what you're talking about. I doubt this will keep happening. Of course, B&B did ridiculous numbers for what it is and MTV will probably try to milk the show HARD.

And yeah, these shows have managed to surpass even my worst expectations. I've only watched the clips played on B&B but watching them feels like getting cancer.

This show's return has made me realize that I stopped paying attention to the world of music videos for far too long.  That one from T-Baby (who I had never heard of) was hilarious.

As for the show's comeback, I think the quality is pretty good right now.  When Butt-Head yelled at Beavis about how he had been watching "Jersey Shore" for three seasons and, yet, never learned a damn thing, I about shit my pants.

I want to turn "It's so cold in the D" into a ringtone for my phone.

I think Drones was the weakest episode so far (as far as the scenes with them watching TV go), but holy shit I was rolling during the Cornholio ep.

That episode of Teen Mom that they goofed on was the most ridiculous shit I've ever laid eyes on.  Is this real life?  Stelios is spot on in his description of it.

I love when they make fun of Deena on Jersey Shore.

It's so cold in the D was amazing, has that actually been played on MTV at some point, or did they just dig that one up from youtube?

I recall seeing "So Cold in the D" on Youtube years ago, but that didn't make it any less funny.

"Breast AugmenTAYSHUNNNNNN"

Actually that makes me wonder why they don't start commenting on doing web videos. They could do an episode where Beavis and Butthead discover the internet since back when they were actually on the internet was in it's infancy and from then on we see them go in front of their computer once in a while.

Best couple of episodes so far. The Rat/Spill one was just filled with laugh out loud moments, Doomsday was fun but a bit predictable and Dumb Design was vintage angry Judge.

I was howling like a hyena during the setting up the mousetrap montage. And the reporter being as dumb as them was genius. So there is a place in that world for the boys post high school. Watching Beavis and Butthead while drunk is the best thing ever.

FEED HER CHARLOTTE! I love that the boys knew all their names.

I finally got to start watching these on my DVR yesterday--blew threw the first four weeks.  What was it they said about Deena?  "Every scene with Deena in it sucks."  And the Teen Mom stuff is great--"Why is everyone's mouth open on this show?"  The Tech Support guys was my favorite so far.  "Do you have matches?  Then set it on FIRE!"  And hearing Hachmed try to imitate them was funny as hell, "Hey guys, 'Microsoft'.  It's micro and soft, huh? Huh huh huh."

Saw the rat episode and I was blown away by how consistent in tone and animation style it was compared to the old show. As if it never left. The creepy store clerk's laugh cracked me up. Not to mention they watched a Battles video. So cool.

I know that is the most amazing part. It really is like they had a bunch of episodes that they are just now releasing. They really kept up with the style and it's fucking interesting. Maybe thats why they don't show it in widescreen.

"Stay in your room while your mother goes down and does it with all your friends."

"The only girl in the world that deserves to be emo."

"They decided to rebel against their parents by making even softer rock."

"That music in the elevators is too balls-out for me."

So. Much. Gold. I love Mike Judge. Add to this that I got to sit and watch it together with my brother drunk and laughing like twenty years haven't passed. I kind of got emotional.

Was there a second episode that come on after this one? My DVR only got this one.

No, I don't think so.

Edit: Ooops. It seems I was wrong.

Gandalf will show you some shame...Human Centipede Sex In the City...sitting through a bunch of eps this afternoon, cackling like some retarded hyena.
