Further proof being gay is a biological matter of brain chemistry and genetics, ie, people are 'born gay'. 

 

The idea of it being some kind of lifestyle choice always struck me as patently ridiculous even when I was a kid who first learned about same sex attraction. It's nice to see medical science helping to finally cement the idea.

Just a thought.... but is it possible he'd been living a lie, and after a near death experience, decided he didn't want to go through with a sham marriage?

I'm sure that's what those who have a stake in this "homosexuality is a choice" thing will interpret this.

 

That or, "homosexuality is the result of a damaged brain and therefore abnormal!"

Nooj, was this post in response to me? Because I wasn't saying it was a choice. I'm saying he was gay, and closeted, and then decided to stop pretending to be hetro once he had his life flash before his eyes

Somewhere in Hollywood, some shit screenwriter, possibly in the employ of Adam Sandler, is developing an outline for a film based on this article. It's either going to be rugby based or football based (likely the latter for American audiences) and titled Turnover.
