Movies about writers tend to be navel-gazing snoozefests but the trailer for this flick makes me want to give it a shot. It's a powerful trailer, an interesting character played by the great Robert De Niro, surrounded by pretty heavy caliber talent in Paul Dano, Julianne Moore, and Olivia Thirlby. Written and directed by Paul Weitz, based on the well-titled book Another Bullshit Night in Suck City.
