Eh I just don't have faith this movie won't feature over the top CGI helicopter shots or wire fu fist fights. For my money, KENNETH BRANAGH'S FRANKENSTEIN remains the definitive film adaptation. As much as I love Nighy (GIRL IN THE CAFE is one of my favorite romantic films of the last decade), Branagh is still alive and fighting fit, and IMHO it's a shame they didn't tap him to reprise his classic turn as the mad doctor

Why can't someone just talk Danny Boyle in translating his stage adaptation to the big screen? Complete with Benedict Cumberbatch.

ILM did a pure CG test years ago for a possible Frankenstein movie. It did not go anywhere.
