Do My Film Homework For Me

Hey guys, I'm in need of a bit of assistance and since it involves film I figured this would be the perfect place to ask. I'm busy editing together a short film a friend and I wrote, and I'm struggling to find temp music to put over it. I'm looking for appropriate music from a movie soundtrack that might work for now. The short's about a bank robbery, but has playful edge to it, so nothing too dark or dour - the stuff that's worked so far has been from Catch Me If You Can and The Brothers Bloom.

Any other suggestions you guys can think of would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

Anything from the Ocean's Eleven soundtrack.

Can't go wrong with "The Taking of Pelham One Two Three" when it comes to heist music.

Also, the song "Hold Up" by the Australian band The Living End always is a really fun heist-related song if you don't mind something really hard, loud, and fast. The chorus lyrics are actually "put the money in the bag!". I was going to upload it here, but I don't know if I'm allowed.

Not sure how far into "playful" you want to go, but this could work:

Or even better, the Oceans 12 soundtrack.

Awesome suggestions guys, definitely on the right track! Love John Holmes, his stuff has the right vibe but it's a bit too funky for our short.

Just wanted to quote this for posterity.  I did a quick Google but I believe this is an epic Freudian slip.

Hey y'all, question #2: I'm trying to think of references for a scene where somebody becomes really self-conscious and unnatural in front of camera. Maybe even freezes up... Any suggestions?

Oh, that's easy:

Albert Brooks in Broadcast News

Will Ferrell in Talladega Nights.

Not a movie, but Alec Baldwin was pretty hilarious in such a scene in 30 Rock.  1st season, I think.

Garth in Wayne's World during the scene where he has to host the show alone.
