I'm in the middle of watching Stephen King's Sleepwalkers and was curious, were the movies playing at the theater at the beginning actual working titles for other horror movies. The names were They Bite and Scream Dreams. Thanks in advance for any help.

You can check the IMDB HERE to see if those titles have been used before, but to the best of my knowledge, they're not actual horror films.

It's probably good ole Garris paying homage to the days of the double bill creature features that used to play in theaters.

Good luck getting through "Sleepwalkers" by the way...

Oi. What a movie.

Yet still Santo and Johnny come through unscathed. They rule all.

Great "pencil-through-the-hand" gag though...

Death by vegetable... how many movies have a corn on the cob stabbing?

It sounds like the title of those movies is in fact a play on the movie itself, Sleepwalkers

My first date with my wife included watching Sleepwalkers at a $1 theater. I'm just a boring old romantic I suppose...

I have a soft spot for this movie, basically because Madchen Amick is hot. And that Enya song is cool.

Y'know, the more I think about it... as far as bad movies go, this one actually half way stands up. With the whacked out family situation, a couple of fun kills. Poor movie, I judged thee too harshly. But just by a little.

SLEEPWALKERS was fucking stoopid. Period. What a dumb fucking concept. I remember thinking "Adios Mr. King" when it came out. It is as stinky as cat shit...

In regards to Sleepwalkers. King was doing A LOT of drugs when he penned that script. I saw an interview with him on 60 minutes about 4 years ago. He stated that he was into everything. Mainly speed and cough suyrup
