Yes this thing is a true next level abomination. The Rock has some majorly undeniable untapped charisma reserves, but if he continues to stick with stuff like this, at some point my good will is going to wear thin

There was actually a raft of new posters for this film that just popped up, each one of them far more ridiculous than the last.

It's Michael Caine. 

 

 

As far as The Rock goes, I've grown used to being disappointed by him, so this doesn't shock me.

Couldn't get Brendan F back for the sequel? Wow.

 

And the trio of Rock, Michael Caine, and Guzman for means means at least a rental for me and the daughter. But the trailer looks bad, with all the weightless made-for-3d CG that part 1 had. Pec-popping aside.

Because studio politics are weird, apparently they wanted to go back to the first film's director, Eric Brevig. But he was too busy finishing Yogi Bear, and the studio absolutely HAD to move on a sequel. Fraser apparently said he wasn't in unless Brevig was, and WB called their bluff.
