THUD: JEREMY CLARKSON CONTINUES TO BE AWESOME, MISUNDERSTOOD

Clarkson's like the Brit Adam Carolla. I find his politics very questionable but he's wildly talented and entertaining.

Clarkson was clearly joking, but there ARE people out there who say things like this unironically, including Mark Millar, who suggested during the riots a while back that the looters ought to be shot on sight. So it's not like people are insane for thinking he was serious about this. I mean, I'm not sure if you've noticed, but there's a certain breed of right winger out there who have gone collectively stark raving insane of late, and for some reason the media keeps inviting them back to the table even as they're smearing mashed potatoes in their hair and farting on the chicken. In this case, we've had a string of dinner guests farting on the chicken, then the latest jokingly suggests he's going to do it, and he wonders why people fly off the handle.

I figured if you like Carolla, you like Clarkson and if you don't like one you don't like both. They're really very similar. Even to the point Carolla has been in the news for a "controversial" rant about the Occupy movements lately.

They're pretty much the same guy, right down to the jew fro.
