I was very excited to see the American Reunion movie. I saw American Pie just after college and remembered it was quite funny. Jim, Michelle, Oz, Heather, Stifler reunite for their high school...

Astounding. I've been kinda down on Spielberg for several years now, but I'd be lying if I didn't admit that these spy pics get me excited. Seeing this shot it hits me, that we're actually getting a movie with DDL as LINCOLN, and my excitement soars. This should be something special. From here on out I'm going to try and avoid seeing any further photos from the set. I want to go to this movie and have him show up in costume and simply BE Lincoln on screen, right before my eyes, like Bruno Ganz WAS Hitler for all intents and purposes when I was watching DOWNFALL
PS Though I know Neeson was long connected with this project... but truth be told, I couldn't be happier that he's gone. He's a strong actor, but quite frankly he's been phoning it in for a long time now. The death of his wife must have hit him hard, but there has been no warmth behind his eyes in most of his recent films. He's just dour, sullen and sad. It's kinda depressing to watch. I also don't think he'd have been a great Lincoln even when he was at the top of his game. Physical dissimilarities aside, I just don't buy his vibe for the part. DDL is a dream come true, and I cannot conceive of a human alive today better suited for the role. Seeing him with the beard just confirms that beyond a shadow of a doubt. Neeson would have missed the mark, on that you'll have to take my word
