Dudes.  My sister wants and MP3/Portable Media Player for Xmas.  Something she can carry with her and watch video.  I KNOW!  No one makes those anymore!  I told her that.  But if you can think of anything good, let me know.  No tablets or phones, please.  Preferably something with at least 16 gb and an system for adding media.  I know!  It doesn't exist these days, but still.

She does not like Apple.  Their attitude, their users, their products, their software.

Which I find completely understandable, but yes, it makes this task even harder!

Microsoft has the Zune, but as far as I know they don't make the player anymore. Just support for the MS Phone, PC and X-Box 360.  Their software and marketplace is still current though.  I've seen a few Zune's in person and they are pretty nice. You just have to buy them from a 3rd party online since they are not being made anymore.

I have a Zune and love it.  I was a Zune advocate.  Unfortunately, she wasn't a fan of the software.  It might be what I wind up getting her, since I know pretty well what's going on, software wise.

See what I mean?  Picky, picky.

Thanks for helping, though!

How about buying a used smartphone and then not activating it?  I am planning on giving my HTC Incredible to my kids full time when I upgrade and allowing them to utilize the Wi-Fi capability of it to continue doing whatever they can with it.

Or there is this.

Or these.
