Apparently the project didn't die with Soderbergh's departure...

Fuck.

Well, that's about eight rungs down on My Interest ladder for that project.

Hmmm.  Does this mean that Ritchie isn't doing Sgt. Rock anymore?  I hope so.

Sherlock Holmes is the only one of his flicks I have liked - here is hoping this becomes another.

Also I am very sick of Cockney London crime drama's so I'm glad he is steering clear of them.

Am I the only one who really enjoyed RocknRolla?

Nope I thought RocknRolla was pretty fun.

I haven't seen it, but when Christopher Nolan was asked if "Bronson" inspired him to cast Tom Hardy in "The Dark Knight Rises", he responded that he hadn't seen it and "RocknRolla" was actually the movie that got him to notice Hardy. I hadn't planned on watching "RocknRolla", but Nolan's statement makes me curious about it now.

Any movie that has a trip of best friends comprised of Gerard Butler, Tom Hardy, and Idris Elba is OK in my book.....................................especially when the rest of the cast still contains Tom Wilkinson, Karel Roden, Tony Kebbell, Mark Strong, etc.

That's kind of funny. Funny in that It's been mentoned that perhaps by coincidence, so many of the leading men whom get Nolan's attention, have played gay in the past, and now Nolan cites a film in which Hardy portrayed a gay character. It's probably all a concidence, but I just like to imagine, for the sake of being gossipy, that Nolan has the most discreet casting couch in Hollywood.
