We had Josh on the Sequelcast to talk HOME ALONE 2 with us.  Thought you guys might enjoy giving it a listen.  Skip about 10 minutes in for the show to begin-- by accident, about 10 minutes of the preshow was uploaded as part of the show!

Thanks!

As for HA2:LINY, I actually saw this movie in theaters, at our local mall, when such an excursion was nothing less than a magical voyage into the unknown. I remember kind of liking the film, and feeling sad for the pigeon lady. After I saw HA2, we rented HA1, which I'd not seen before. In the end I don't really have terribly warm feelings for the films, and have not rewatched them since I was about a foot shorter than I am now, but over all they were not too bad. The story and Kevin's world had a touch of genuine humanity that I feel is missing from many similar productions these days... though yes, that kid was kind of a sociopath - my mom hated these movies for the gruesome violence inflicted on the sticky bandits

BTW: All my ideas of what New York City looks like at Christmas Time basically come from this movie, I just realized. Even though I've been there at X-Mas a bunch of times, when I close my eyes and think "NYC X-mas!" it's this movie I see

BTW: Josh I just finished your write up. Once again you've knocked it out of the park. So much fun to read. It brought back memories and made me think about things that I took no notice of as a child. The extravagant wealth of Kevin's family is something I definitely picked up on when I was younger, but I just never really thought about it much. I think having grown up with money troubles, there was always a bit of jealousy I felt regarding his giant house and immaculate X-mas decorations
