According to Coming Attractions, Romero's latest is going straight to video. Do I sound bitter?

August 29, 2001... Lion's Gate has apparently decided to forego a theatrical release for Bruiser, and will instead release the film directly to home video/DVD on October 9th. [Scooped by Doug Skiles.]

I have actually heard from a couple of people that it's good. I haven't seen it yet and I realize that latter day Romero is not for everyone but to see so much crap unleashed theatrically when a genius like Romero can't get his own flick release chaps my hide. But you're right, the DVD will no doubt be good.
