Blood

The Red Cross needs it.  You've got it.  Giving blood is not that bad once you get used to it, and the Red Cross is experiencing a blood shortage so now's a good time.  I just gave a pint today.

I really would, but I've been turned down before. They told me that they can't accept anyone who is on mood medication which sucks, because I really have no fear of needles and would love to actually contribute blood.

Could someone in the know tell me if they changed their policies?

They have a list of drug deferrals so probably not, but you can check the red cross website and see if your medication is on there.  I think it's great that you want to.
