A few new Hero shots and a nice quip from Iron Man.

Given the opportunity, I am absolutely seeing this in Russian.

Just horrendous. A few explosions without context, a few callbacks to other Marvel films, a few wise cracks. It doesn't feel epic or exciting. Most of the characters seem smarmy and charmless, and there is an inexplicable focus on Scarlet Johannson and her non character. There is no real story or energy, it's just tossing up a bunch of blockbuster signifiers and asking us to care "Did you see that big explosion? I mean, that's exciting right? When stuff blows up? What other movie has explosions like this?"

That line has already showed up somewhere, can't remember if it was the teaser or the other teaser post-credits on Cap. "And we have a Hulk." is pretty awesome, I have to admit. I'm expecting great things as far as character interaction and dialogue, but they better have an ace of setpieces up their sleeves or people are going to be really let down. Everything shown so far looks cheap, for lack of a better word.

It was from the Comic Con footage.

I mentioned it in another thread, but I wanna see more team action, and not alternating scenes between team SHIELD meeting banter and solo hero action poses. The TDKR trailer draws you in with its mystique and imagery. This just seems like a combo sequel to the original movies ("You like that character? Here's a shot of him!"), relying on goodwill. I'll see it, but I'll probably have to wait for more compelling footage, when the FX are completed. Until then...

Also, no offense to Russian cinema, I'm sure it's a Hollywood decision, but in future try to screen the movies in their original language. True, few foreign films get screened in the US, but I've rarely if ever seen a film in theaters dubbed from its original language (outside of Miyazaki) here in the states, and as a film fan I'd never deliberately choose to hear the original actors dubbed over

They'd lose massive amounts of business. Dubs are the norm for Hollywood flicks overseas, for better or worse.

From what I've read, there are VO artists who are the go-to people for certain celebrities.  That's how much of a THING it is elsewhere.

The interesting about this is, if the rumors of the SECOND villain in The Avengers are true, then there's a LOT they're not showing us. A LOT.
