Also, can the Gary Mitchell talk before you get yourselves too excited.  The writers are keeping tabs on the new EU material (video games, etc.) and offering their input.  There is a new comic series on the way (or already here?) that will be retelling TOS stories altered to fit into the new timeline.  Where No Man Has Gone Before has already been mentioned as being one of them.  If they are allowing them to do that tale in the comic series, then they have no intention of bringing Gary Mitchell to life in the new timeline themselves.  Sorry, folks!

 

Also, remember that the early reports about Khan pointed to him being a side character........not the lead antagonist.  While I would prefer them save him for a later entry, I won't be surprised if he shows up in some fashion to set him up as the big bad for the third installment.
