If nothing else, Tim Tebow has united a miserable Denver Broncos fan base and given them hope for good things to come. With Elway in the driver's seat and Tebow at quarterback, the Broncos can work towards getting back into the good graces of the league. It won't be quick, but it's something they can build around.
That said, it won't be quick and fans need to realize that. Like most young teams and quarterbacks, the good games, ala Pittsburgh, will come and go with the bad, ala Patriots.
Now if Tebow would just quit being the face of intolerant family groups, I might almost like the kid.
"And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men."
Can't remember who said it. Eh, he was probably just a hater.
i loved the spectacle of Tebow. His religiousity aside (which is almost an impossible thing to do given how he constantly sticks it in the forefront), the kid really inspired a lot of confidence in a bronco team that was pretty mediocre when Kyle Orton was at the helm.
He is a great leader. John Fox and Company (re: the defense) put him in fantastic situations for everyone of his fantastic finishes.
I am not sure you can re-create this next season, but if they fully commit to the read-option offense it could be really interesting.
I think the Panthers began to phase out their read option looks as Cam Newton started to show that he is going to be a legit QB for the next few years, so the option will live and die in Denver next season.
I enjoyed every one of the games that went into "Tebow Time" though. Really really fun stuff to watch.
