Perhaps they will just continue alternating them?  After all, Jackson seems (hopefully) certain they will hit at least four installments.

I thought it was pretty much agreed that they were going to be adapting The Seven Crystal Balls/Prisoner of the Sun, which is pretty much the next storyline anyway in chronological order, and a fairly logical way to introduce Professor Calculus.

 

They probably won't do Destination Moon for #3, it's too dated and would stick out as a bit weird. I'd love it if they did Tintin in Tibet or Flight 714, one of the stories with weird ass SF elements. "Tibet" is often considered the best Tintin story, but I can't remember if it's substantial enough for a full movie. Plus it relies on the character of Chang Chong-Jen, who's introduction was skipped over.
