This cheesy action flick looks surprisingly fun!

They ran a First Look for this before Haywire and it did seem like it's a cheesy good time.

Looks fun. Lucky for us Pierce likes to mix it up a bit, what with this, DON'T BE AFRAID, HURT LOCKER, TRAITOR.

He even braved a movie with Nic Cage.

It looks like it could be a bundle of derivative fun. Hopefully, the visuals are better indicators about the movie's worth than that horrible VO.

"He's the best there is... But he's a loose cannon."

Heh, this is going to be fun. Pearce looks like he knows exactly what kind of movie he's starring in. Trailer gets bonus points for the "eastern seaboard" mention.

The bit where they say "SNOW!" and cut to a whole bunch of Action-Pearce shots is priceless.

I liked the other Trailers better. They don't showcase enough of Pearce's humour here.

Sign me up. I love 'I don't give a damn' sarcastic heroes in my movies.

Dammit, Maggie Grace, you're getting all sorts of kidnapped up in here, aren't you?

It seems like the filmmakers said to themselves, "Let's make a movie specifically for Brad." And then they did. I'm in.

Lockout or whatever it gets called, looks like it will be...Awesome!  An...R Rated film, with a...Guy, attemping to rescue a...GRACEful Maggie, from a Prison in...Space, looks like we will be...Taken, to a place...Out There!

One day I might be cynical or cold hearted enough to say "No" to this. I am grateful today is not that day.

Please let there be a Liam Neeson cameo.  Please let there be a Liam Neeson cameo.  Please let there be a Liam Neeson cameo.

Looks like fun. It's almost absurd that he doesn't have an eyepatch. Guess we'll never get an ESCAPE FROM EARTH now.

Always good to see more Guy P.

I'm reminded of the days in the late 80s/early 90s when we had FORTRESS, NO ESCAPE, LOCK UP and DEATH WARRANT.

Oh shit yeah, sign me the fuck up for that one.

I know a lotta my fellow cinephile chewers here had horror as their gateway drug of choice to get to full blown film geekery, but for me it was scifi.

That trailer felt like coming home - I couldn't stop the smile from spreading across my dial as it went on.

I'm on board. Big time. I love Besson. Most of the stuff he makes I don't really like but it's so great to have a guy doing this job today.

Looks like fun. I'll probably go see it.

And a Prometheus cameo to boot!

Probably because most of it seems foul-mouthed!

Oddly enough, some of his line delivery feels like he's channeling Michael Westen from Burn Notice.

"His name was Fuck You. He was an Asian guy..."

There is no possible way this can be as good as I'm dreaming it will be, but I'll take that chance.
