I take back what I wrote on another thread; the make up doesn't remind me of the vampires look for Interview with a Vampire. However Alice Cooper has a cameo, so this movie will still get my money.

Imagine getting ready to hit the showers in a gym. As you're about to go in, a guy comes running out looking embarrassed. That raises your curiosity right before the unholy stink of the explosive diarrhea he just unleashed in the showers does. That's how this looks.

I can understand people being skeptical about the movie itself, but I'm a little confused why this picture in particular is so damning. He looks goofy, but hey, the original:

Pointy ears, baggy eyes, bad haircut. Pale thing is new, but then again it's not B&W. I mean I've seen like one episode all the way thru, but the original series was pretty much campy crap. Turning it into a half-remake, half-Twilight parody isn't really doing the source material a disservice.

It looks like every Depp\Burton collaboration from the last two decades.

 

Bright colours, pale Depp.

 

I have no knowledge of the source material and zero interest in this film so can't really commentate but it doesn't look like an obvious property to reimagine.

 

Am I missing something?
