Saw this just now after the Super Bowl.

 

This looks very promising.

 

 

The no desire line got me in my seat on premier night.

Really looking forward to it but I have no idea how it can go on for any decent amount of time without getting buried in the police procedural part of its DNA.

Man, I hope they use the same ending from the American Life on Mars in this if that's the case.

Hmm, never heard of that show but upon checking out the Wiki for it it does seem very similar except instead of time travel Jason Isaacs seems to be occupying the same time space minus the other family member.


Is Life on Mars worth a look?

The British version is quite good.  Two English seasons, so it's not that huge a time commitment.
