Lost Girl

So technically this is on Syfy but I found out this is actually a Canadian series that Syfy has just started showing over here. It's toward the end of it's second season over there. Im 4 episodes in and I have to say im kind of loving it. It is pretty much what I wish Grimm was. It has all the major beats. Superhuman and human partner fight monsters. The difference is Superhuman and human have great chemistry and are completely loveable. Also you have to love a series where the main girl is kicking ass one minute and then having a threesome and it's not a big deal. I have all the eps so im going to get ahead of Syfy soon but I just wanted to let people know that you should relaly give it a chance.

I can't believe she is 24. She looks even younger than that.

Yeah I dig it although sometimes it veers of the main story of the ep a bit too much. Like sometimes it just want to be weird for the sake of being weird. Then the CGI........however all the characters are so fun that it really works. I do think they missed the boat with Kenzie. I haven't been able to watch for the last 3 weeks but they actually gave Kenzi Faye powers. Made a big deal of the stuff spilling on her at the end of season 2 and then thats how they resolve it? By the fay coming adn getting her power back, a power she never knew she had? Or does he still have them in the newer eps?

Well in the last episode I saw Kenzie did NOT have powers. Not to spoil but since I already kinda did.......at the end of season 2 something spills on Kenzie. Your left with a cliffhanger as to what this will do to her. Then a bunch of episodes go by, they fianlly address that she has a rash on that arm. A crazed Faye comes back and informs her that she has been carrying her powers and she takes them back......and then the episode ends. Kenzie never uses them or anything. So I don't think Kenzie has powers anymore but I don't know since my tv has been down for several weeks now and I haven't seen the last 3 episodes. i just think it's a shitty way to end that arch that's all. Why leave such a cliffhanger and then bail like that? Also there is another instance where Kenzie had the chance to have an ability this season and she turned it down. Yet in another episode she was getting shit from Lauren for just bopping through life with no responsibilites. I thought the Faye power thing would lead to that but NOPE.

Anna Silk seems a little eccentric when shes interviewed but ultimately very nice.....I want crazy stories now.
