What books or stories do you think would make a good horror movie?

I want an adaption of Subway Jack (with or without Batman). I read a short story about it by Joe R. Lansdale in "Tales of the Batman," which is also a fantastic collection of stories, and I was gettin the heebie-jeebies. This guy walks around using human heads as Nikes, cutting up people with a razor blade. It's a good story that, if done correctly, would make a great movie.

I guess I'd want Sam Raimi directing. Transfered to film by Sam and James Cameron, since we're pretending. Score by Danny Elfman (eat it, f*ckers).

Patrick Dempsey as the poor doof who gets possessed by Jack. Donald Sutherland as the Comissioner. Gary Coleman as Batman. Yeah, that sounds good to me.

Insomnia, by Stephen King, would be a great horror movie. I don't remember it being that gory, but it scared the crap out of me.

Don't want to start a new thread. What a piece of crap the Fangoria website is! Site dedicated to driving you to the overpriced magazine only. Nothing of value on the site. No exploding heads, no dick jokes, no breast articles ... hate them!

Will not ever happen. No living actor could be any of these characters. EVER. Done and done. I swear to god, I'll kill myself if he ever makes a movie based on any of these books. KILL MYSELF I SAY.
